Problem

App expanding to new markets — different languages, different rules

As the product grew beyond its home market, two problems surfaced at once: the interface needed to speak the user's language, and the app had to comply with local regulations that varied significantly between countries — from data storage requirements to emergency service protocols.

Solution

Built a localisation layer that handles both language and compliance as first-class concerns — UI strings, date formats, and legal copy all driven by the user's locale, while the backend applies the correct regional ruleset per account. Adding a new market no longer requires touching core logic, just a new configuration.

Problem

Riders disappearing from the map mid-ride

Users were reporting that after 20–30 minutes of riding, their friends simply stopped being visible on the map — and in an emergency, nobody could see their location. Negative reviews were piling up: "the app stops working on its own."

Solution

We tracked the root cause to specific phone brands silently shutting the app down to save battery — without the user knowing. After the fix, the app stays active for the entire ride. The disappearing-from-map complaints dropped to near zero, and app store ratings recovered within two update cycles.

Problem

"It doesn't work on my phone" — app broken on a specific manufacturer's devices

A wave of complaints came in from users on a specific phone brand — the app would crash on launch, freeze mid-session, or skip key features entirely. The same version worked perfectly on every other device. Reviews tanked and word spread fast in the community.

Solution

We reproduced the issue on physical hardware from that manufacturer and traced it to a non-standard system behaviour their firmware introduced. A targeted fix was shipped within days. We also added that device family to our ongoing compatibility test suite so similar regressions get caught before release, not after.

Problem

Client data scattered across email, spreadsheets, and notebooks

Sales teams were losing deals simply because key information about a client lived in three different places — someone's inbox, a shared spreadsheet, and a notebook on a desk. No one had the full picture before a call.

Solution

Built a unified client profile in Ilaro that aggregates every interaction — emails, notes, call logs, deal history — into a single timeline. Before any call, the whole context is one click away. Teams reported fewer dropped leads and noticeably shorter onboarding for new salespeople.

Problem

Repetitive manual work eating up the team's day

Follow-up emails, task assignments after a status change, reminders before a deadline — all done by hand. People were spending hours each week on work that added no value, just kept the process from breaking.

Solution

Designed a workflow automation layer in Ilaro where rules trigger actions automatically — assign a task when a deal moves to a new stage, send a follow-up after three days of silence, notify the manager when a deadline is missed. The routine work happens on its own; the team focuses on clients.

Problem

Clients falling through the cracks between channels

A client sends a message on Instagram, a follow-up email, then calls. Each lands in a different place — different person, different tool. Nobody has the full conversation, and the client feels ignored.

Solution

Integrated all incoming channels — email, chat, social — into a single inbox inside Ilaro, linked directly to the client record. Whoever picks up the conversation sees the full history regardless of where it started. Response times dropped and clients stopped having to repeat themselves.
